Learn 2 Earn

Khulisani Learn 2 Earn was established to provide assistance and opportunities for individuals with a disability who have completed learnerships, to develop skills and gain valuable work experience.

We place our employees at many Host Sites in various positions, depending on their ability – we count TAFTA, Child Welfare Durban and Districts, The Domino Foundation, Durban Children’s Home, HOLAH as just a few of our trusted beneficiaries and have a national footprint.

Khulisani provides a unique opportunity for businesses to invest their Enterprise Development (ED) and Supplier Development (SD) spend in a cause which not only supports a majority black owned business, but importantly, creates the opportunity for the upliftment of the most marginalized portion of the south African population: Persons with a disability.
At Khulisani we also believe in the vital importance of early childhood development and setting the foundations for education at pre-school level by providing brain growth and learning, through sustained education, stimulation and encouragement. Khulisani has developed an Early Childhood Care Program where our employees could benefit from by being up-skilled to learn the key elements of early childhood development and acquire fundamental skills which we believe is a significant area of expertise in turning around education (and consequently peoples’ lives) in South Africa.

Should our client wish to employ a person with a disability, Khulisani is able to provide coaching and mentoring support services including sensitization workshops and accessibility audits.
My name is Thokozani Mabaso I started working for Khulisani in 2016, when I started for the company I was very young and I must say it was a challenge for me but now I have to thank Khulisani for helping me to get where I am today and today I can say through them now I am a supervisor. These days it is very challenging to find a job in this country especially if you have a disability, but Khulisani believed in me and for that I would really love to thank you❤

Working with Khulisani really made me grow so much and I have learnt that when I am talking to someone I must be polite, respectful and supportive to my colleagues. Before I started with my contract at Khulisani I did not know how to work with people in a team and I did not know what was right or wrong but they taught me all of this. I have learnt lots of new skills like cooking, how to work with people and the importance of managing my time. I also have so much confidence now and make sure I always dress well and am presentable. Thank You Khulisani for believing in me.
