Through generous donor funding, we have been able to make a significant impact at the Inkanyiso Day Care Centre, a vital haven for children with disabilities in Mpophomeni.

Thanks to the support received, we were able to provide essential equipment to enhance the centre’s functionality and create a nurturing environment. A brand new kettle, stove, and fridge were donated, ensuring that nutritious meals can be prepared and served with ease.

But our involvement didn’t stop there. One of our esteemed Khulisani Clients extended their support by visiting the centre and selflessly painting the jungle gym and interior of the building. This transformation not only added a vibrant touch but also provided a safe and stimulating space for the children to play and grow.

Recognizing the need for structural improvements, we took the initiative to repair the roof and ceiling, ensuring the centre’s long-term sustainability and safety. Additionally, a fresh coat of paint revitalized the exterior, creating an inviting atmosphere for the children and their families.

We are incredibly proud of the progress achieved through our “Learn to Earn” program. Lindelwe Zuma, one of our dedicated interns, was placed in employment at the Inkanyiso Day Care Centre. Working hand in hand with the centre’s founder, Thandi, Lindelwe has become an invaluable asset, providing her expertise and care to the children.
